In a move designed to help harness volumes of data to measure in real-time the performance of corporate communications campaigns, Vocus Inc. today announced the release of Vocus Analytics.

Vocus, a Lanham, Md.-based ASP that specializes in online communications services, reports that its new analytics software will help customers evaluate the adoption of corporate and product messaging, identify new publicity and brand-building opportunities, benchmark communication effectiveness against the competition and identify competitive threats.

“Every department today is being asked to report on their effectiveness and deliver measurable results,” said Rick Rudman, president & CEO of Vocus. “Corporate communications is no exception.”

Vocus Analytics is designed to integrate with the Vocus Public Relations software suite to create a single online solution for streamlining media activities, managing communications campaigns and analyzing and evaluating results.

Vocus’ customers include FedEx, Morgan Stanley, Gap, Allstate, Siebel, Porsche, American Medical Association, Library of Congress, World Bank and Edelman PR Worldwide.
