BOSTON. Markus Rex Senior vice president and general manager open platform solutions at Novell (pic left) sees the cloud as a platform for innovation.
Rex was speaking at the LinuxCon conference in a keynote address.
“Linux is the universal platform that ties the cloud together,” Rex said.
It’s not just about the cloud as a delivery model either. Rex noted that workload management, security and tools to build appliances for the cloud (all of which Novell has products for) is the key to really unlocking innovation in the cloud.
