BOSTON. MeeGo is different than other mobile operating systems is because it is open.

At LinuxCon, Thomas Miller, Head of MeeGo Ecosystem Development at Nokia (pic far left) and Derek Speed, Senior Technologist at Intel Corporation (pic left) gave a very succinct view of why Meego will win in the end.
MeeGo is different because companies can participate at the point of development —instead of just being handed something,” Miller said.

Speed added:

“You can’t predict where innovation will come from and we believe that the notion of community based investment and people working on creativity and contribution is really the way to go.”
