Apple Expected to Bump Up iOS 4.1 Release

Is Apple racing to deliver iOS 4.1 ahead of its earlier schedule? It’s a little hard to say, since the company doesn’t like to talk about its product pipeline, but the Web is full of plenty of rumor sites that are all too happy to fill in the blanks.

If the rumors are to be believed, Apple is pushing out the 4.1 release of its iOS mobile operating system for the iPhone, perhaps to put an end to the clamorous uproar that greeted the antenna problems that marred the release of the fourth generation of the iconic smartphone. Apple’s much-anticipated release of iOS 4.1 is going to happen sooner than later, according to postings on a variety of Apple-centric blogs and websites.

Looking to put the iPhone 4’s so-called “death grip” debacle behind it, an AppleInsider report claims that Apple’s next refresh of its mobile operating system is “coming soon” and will feature a number of fixes.
