Microsoft is betting on a big holiday season, fueled in large part by the release of a bumper crop of smartphones running Windows Phone 7, the next iteration of its mobile operating system.
Microsoft has said the Windows Phone 7 devices will hit the market in the fall, but it hasn’t said precisely when. Now, a rumor has surfaced that the launch will come Oct. 11 at an event in New York, a city that Microsoft has chosen for past release galas. Enterprise Mobile Today takes a look at the rumored release of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.
Microsoft isn’t saying yet when or where it will hold an expected launch gala for the company’s pending Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system debut.
However, the same apparently can’t be said of some industry observers who have evidently not been sworn to secrecy or have and disregarded the vow.
