Adobe Systems Incorporated recently announced its acquisition of GoLive Systems, Inc., including GoLive CyberStudio, the professional Web design and publishing software, and the GoLive Web Publishing System.

This acquisition reinforces Adobe’s strategy to provide Web developers with a complete suite of professional Web design and publishing tools. CyberStudio is the chief publishing tool used to create Web sites for Aware Records, Music Boulevard, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Records and The Associated Press.

GoLive CyberStudio 3 provides users with complete control over HTML by using a visual environment that generates industry-compliant HTML code. The site management tools included in CyberStudio make the creation and maintenance of a Web site a fast, simple and visual process.

CyberStudio is the crucial element needed to compliment Adobe’s line of
professional Web graphics tools. Professional designers continually cite Adobe
Photoshop and Illustrator as the best tools for creating Web graphics and site composites. Adobe’s new Web graphics tools, ImageReady and ImageStyler, provide designers with the tools needed to create professional Web graphics and effects.
