Eon Solutions
Ltd.
this week announced the release of EasyHTML, its HTML editor for
Microsoft Word.

EasyHTML joins the very active HTML editor marketplace, which at this time
includes more than 400 different tools.

According to Jeff Hall, Eon’s MD, “The number of competitors is only one of
the problems. We also have to contend with the fact that the two leading
products, Front Page Express and Netscape Composer are available free!”

Even with all the competition, Eon believes that the market will support
the new product, “We expect the most enthusiastic take-up from intranet
developers and on-line book authors,” Jeff explained. “Most tools have a
single-page paradigm, whereas EasyHTML can generate a complete web site
from a single source document, without the author having to know anything
about the HTML language.”

EasyHTML will be distributed as shareware, so developers can try it out for
a 30-day trial period. After the trial period, the product may be purchased
for a retail price of $99. For additional information about EasyHTML, visit
the EasyHTML Web site.
