Electronic Software Publishing Corp this week announced QuickCheck, a quick and easy way to check the quality and identify problems on a Web site.

Elsop believes that QuickCheck is “the most powerful service for finding broken links and performing weblint error checking on a Web page.”

To use the service, the user enters the URL of the page to be validated and QuickCheck provides a detailed line by line analysis of the Web page. QuickCheck is a module from Elsop’s LinkScan program which is designed to test large Web sites. The product is designed to work with both internet and intranet servers, and can test over 40,000 links per hour.

LinkScan generates two types of site maps and handle over 250,000 pages at a time. Fully functional evaluation copies of LinkScan may be downloaded for free from Elsop’s Web site.
