ElectricStreets Inc. Thursday enlisted mobile solutions outfit Corrigo Inc.
to help property managers deliver better communication and more
effective service delivery within their communities.
ElectricStreets provides property owners and managers with an intranet
solution encompassing content, community and commerce
that facilitates online access to property management services. Through the
agreement with Corrigo, owners and managers will now have access to a mobile
service management solution that allows residents to place service requests
via the Web.
With the ElectricStreets/Corrigo deal, residents have an easier means to
place service requests and track their progress — managers/owners gain a
service that brings people back to their property portal on an ongoing
basis.
The flagship solution CorrigoNet uses the Web, wireless devices, and
telephones to open a real-time fountain of information among residents,
maintenance technicians, vendors and property managers. The firms hope this
will boost customer satisfaction, staff
productivity and vendor management.
Corrigo President Rick Michaux said that because residents have service
requests, fielding those requests online saves time and money for property
managers.
“Corrigo’s mobile service management solutions provide ElectricStreets with
an opportunity to extend their intranet functionality and
enhance site stickiness to naturally bring people back to their customers’
sites,” Michaux said.
Though not as sexy as the government, the profitable real estate market has
been lighting the intranet sector up lately. On Tuesday, IntraNet Solutions
Inc. extended its arms to the real estate industry when it offered its top
product to RESoft Inc., a Web-based document management company.
