NetObjects Inc. Thursday licensed
its Collage enterprise Web content platform to Hitachi Semiconductor America Inc.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Collage is an integrated platform that provides a single, continuous view
and control over the content management life cycle — from design,
collaboration and content contribution through content management and
delivery. With the implementation of Collage, Hitachi said it will be able to
create, contribute and deliver information across its intranet, extranet and
Internet.

Collage’s built-in dynamic application services include user authentication
and security, user session management, dynamic content publishing,
personalization, syndication, enterprise-wide search capabilities, rapid
Java integration, and open support for integration of third-party services.

“NetObjects Collage is the direct outcome of listening to our customers and
their challenges with managing content among the various audiences that they
serve,” said Morris Taradalsky, executive vice president and general
manager, enterprise division, NetObjects Inc. (NETO).

“With NetObjects Collage, enterprises have the power to integrate and
leverage their most valuable resources — people, information and
technology — throughout the Web production process.”
