IntraNet Solutions Enhances Content Management Tool

IntraNet Solutions Inc.
Monday launched an add-on to its Xpedio Content Management System that
features a a publishing module for assembling complex publications from a
variety of managed content.


Xpedio Merge features facilitates dynamic assembly and personalization of
complex publications that allows multiple authors to use components managed
in the Xpedio Content Server to create Web viewable and printable
publications. Applications for this software include sales and marketing
materials, personalized training manuals and responses to complex RFPs.


With Xpedio Merge, a template pulls the required content from the content
server, automatically merges them, inserts pagination and routes the
completed document to the specified location for viewing or printing.
Watermarking and mail merge capabilities can be used for greater
customization.


“IntraNet Solutions’ single source-multiple use model gives these
organizations tremendous flexibility in producing composite publications,”
said Dan Ryan, vice president of marketing for IntraNet Solutions Inc.
. “With Xpedio Merge, we also extend our capabilities to
the fast growing Web-based print-on-demand market.”


Xpedio Merge is available now with list pricing starts at $50,000 for
Windows NT and UNIX platforms.
