Intranets.com Monday signed on LocalBusiness.com as its latest major partner
to license free intranet solutions before the Christmas holiday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Small business application and service provider LocalBusiness.com will offer
its small business users with free, co-branded intranet solutions beginning
in the next two weeks.
The free service will enable businesses to create their own co-branded
company intranet sites with business collaboration and communication tools.
LocalBusiness.com, formerly dbusiness.com, is a major content provider that
offers breaking business news, applications, tools and research resources in
more than 28 major markets in the U.S.
Small business is a new niche for Intranets.com, which has amassed more than
325,000 small businesses and other groups to use its free corporate portals.
One of incubator idealab!’s 50 offspring, Intranets.com has licensed its
wares to Internet service providers, Web hosting companies, real estate

Intranets.com.
LocalBusiness.com believes the deal should bring in new channels of revenue,
attract new customers and build customer loyalty.
