Intranets.com, which provides small
businesses with free corporate intranets, Tuesday became part
of DoubleClick‘s Select Business
Network, a deal that gives the advertising company the exclusive right to
sell ads on Intranets.com’s sites.

As part of the agreement, Intranets.com is using DART (Dynamic Advertising
Reporting and Targeting), DoubleClick’s proprietary ad serving and tracking
technology.

Through DoubleClick, advertisers will be able to reach the small businesses
that use Intranets.com for group communication, collaboration, and document
sharing. Intranets.com says it’s pleased to turn over the ad sales
responsibilities to DoubleClick, so it can concentrate on its core business.
