Intranets.com Tuesday inked a deal
with computer supplier Insight Direct Worldwide Inc. to
provide Insight’s small- and medium-size business customers a free intranet
solution.

With the deal, of which financial terms were not disclosed, the Insight Enterprises Inc.
subsidiary hopes to boost customer relations, increase
stickiness on their corporate Web site and build brand awareness.

As a feature of the program, Insight will also offer competitive pricing and
110,000 high technology computing products to Intranets.com customers via
links on Intranets.com’s Web site and through co-branded e-mails.

Insight joins Intranets.com as the latest addition of the idealab!-hatched
firm, which earlier this month surpassed the implementation of its services
on 200,000 registered sites.

“Through this alliance, Insight will offer its customers Intranets.com’s
free service and will provide Intranets.com users with a customized
purchasing page and special electronic promotions designed especially for
them,” said Dino Farfante, Insight’s executive vice president of worldwide
sales and marketing.

Intranets.com, has entered into several strategic partnerships with
companies including Hello Direct and Inc.com to provide a co-branded
intranet solution. Each intranet provides its users with communication and
collaboration applications such as document sharing, group discussions,
instant messaging, announcement postings and calendar scheduling.
