Mindbridge Ships Instant Intranet Product

Aug 27, 1999

Mindbridge.com Inc. recently released IntraSmart, an out-of-the-box “instant intranet” application solution for the corporate enterprise, OEM, or application service provider market.

Based on server-side Java, the program collection can be deployed on multiple server platforms and accessed throughout the enterprise through normal Web browsers.

The package provides multiple, integrated business applications commonly needed in the enterprise. The document manager allows employees to distribute, manage, search, and share documents online.

The announcements and bulletin board features allow departments and team members to communicate publicly with one another on common issues.

The employee directory and address book modules allow employees to easily find one another as well as common company contacts and the group scheduler allows teams to schedule their workflows more efficiently.

In addition to the corporate enterprise, Mindbridge offers licensing packages and initiatives for OEMs and application service providers. IntraSmart is priced at $2,500 per server, with an additional one-time $55/user charge. Additional support and customization options are available.
