TREEV Rolls Out Enterprise Management System

Enterprise solution management provider TREEV
Inc.
Tuesday released AS View, an enterprise report management product developed for the AS/400 banking industry platform.

TREEV (TREV)
developed AS View for clients who require AS/400 viewing capabilities from
DataTREEV, TREEV’s Internet ERM product. Using AS View, banking customers
with 5250 terminals or PC’s running terminal emulation products will now be
able to view reports and statements stored on their DataTREEV server.

The company developed AS View as an additional viewer to run on this
platform, eliminating the need for major upgrades to utilize ERM solutions.
By extending the viewing options of DataTREEV to include AS/400 5250
terminals, AS View grants users easy report retrieval, fast response time
and very little cycle workload for AS/400 CPU’s.

This solution is ideal for banks that have mixed terminal and PC network
environments and multiple-branch locations.

AS View benefits include:

  • 5250 Terminal Support — AS View meets current infrastructure
    requirements and leverages advanced
client server and Web capabilities offered with DataTREEV

  • Multi-branch Support — Using the AS View interface, banks with
    multiple branches linked by terminal
connections, gain special advantages by utilizing existing network
    infrastructure

  • Positions Bank for Web Delivery of All Documents – While many of
    TREEV’s target customers have
TCP/IP networks and/or Web access, many still have significant AS/400
network infrastructures that have not been migrated. AS View will support existing infrastructure, while
simultaneously enabling the implementation of Web-based technologies
  • Investment Protection with TREEV — By using AS View, customers can
leverage their current systems and the entire suite of integrated document solutions offered by TREEV over
    time

Pricing starts at $3,250 for a five-user configuration. The beta version of
AS View is currently available. The final product is set to ship in February.
