24/7 Europe launched its Finnish
operation — 24/7 Suomi, calling it “Finland’s only online ad sales house
which is a fully integrated, wholly owned part of an international network.”

24/7 Suomi will provide online advertising, sponsorship, e-commerce and
direct marketing opportunities.

Pertti Hakala, from Finnish agency Datum OMD and former area sales manager
for online marketer Net Value, will head up 24/7 Suomi. Other key
appointments include Annette Saarinen as sales director and Satu Yrjdnen as
senior account manager. Both join from DoubleClick Finland. Merja Enroos,
previously at Umbrella Communications,
will become marketing and communications manager.

“We aim to make 24/7 Suomi the leading online advertising company in Finland
by the end of this year,” said Hakala. “Plans to quickly establish and expand
the company are very well advanced and we should have a full force in place by
mid-September.”
