Ohio’s University of Akron has been selected as an Educational Strategic Alliance partner by 2WAY Corporation, a Seattle-based provider of collaborative communications software applications. 2WAY will create for the University database-driven interactive web pages for surveying, messaging and online testing.
With the 2WAY Interactive System, University officials will be able to more quickly and effectively communicate, conduct research and prepare institutional data throughout the University, according to Dr. Thomas Gaylord, the University’s chief information officer.
Gaylord adds that the University of Akron was chosen, in part, because the institution has been gaining national attention in the technological arena. He cites recent arrangements with companies such as PeopleSoft, IBM and Cisco Systems.
