adam.com, Inc., an originator and syndicator of health information,
Friday revealed a content license agreement with America Online Inc.

AOL will bring adam.com’s award-winning illustrations to the its
Parenting Channel in a Week-by-Week Pregnancy Guide.

“Adam.com will provide a series of images that have been developed over
the past 10 years,” said Ginny Perrine, spokesperson for adam.com. “The
illustrations, to date, have been recognized by Time-Life Health with a
Freddy Award and a Codie Award, which applauds software development.”

The company’s proprietary content library features a medical encyclopedia
covering 4,000 diseases and conditions, 40,000 medical illustrations, health
education presentations, 3-D image models, virtual “fly-thru’s” of the human
body; Internet-ready, broadcast-quality animation, and topic-specific health
centers on pregnancy, children’s health and outdoor medicine.

Adam.com has health imagery and content partnerships with other major
players, such as Yahoo! Health, drkoop.com, Healtheon/WebMD, Merck-Medco,
the National Library of Medicine and Pearson Education.

“We trust this new agreement is just the beginning of a beneficial
relationship for both adam.com and America Online,” said Robert S. Cramer,
Jr., adam.com’s chairman and CEO.

Last month the company obtained 1,927,079 shares of common stock in
drkoop.com. adam.com obtained the drkoop shares in lieu of certain cash
payments as part of a content licensing agreement between the two companies.
