i-money, a
Canadian financial services site, and AltaVista Canada have negotiated to offer i-money’s popular features
through the new AltaVista Canada Money Channel.

“i-money is a wonderful addition to the AltaVista Canada site,” said
AltaVista Canada product manager, Mark Murakami. “By making their
services accessible on our portal, Canadian Internet users will find
quick, current and credible financial information.”

A new “Powered by i-money section” will provide features for RRSPs
including fund and stock quotes and graphs, and mutual fund and
investing glossaries. Enhancements are planned for later in the year and
into 2000.

AltaVista Canada, a bilingual search engine, maintains an index of over
20 million Canadian web pages. AltaVista Canada’s technology was
developed jointly by TELUS, InterDynamix Corporation of Edmonton and
AltaVista.

More than 20 leading financial service and information providers are
members of i-money, including Charles Schwab Canada, TD Bank, National
Trust, Canada Trust, and The Financial Post. i-money’s alliance
partners include Sprint Canada, Sympatico, Toronto.com and AOL Canada.
