Novator Systems Ltd., a Toronto-based e-retail services and software company, has been selected by AOL Canada Inc., to be its electronic retail solutions partner.

Novator will provide AOL Canada partners with e-retail strategy, design and engineering solutions and guide them in developing and managing their sites. It combines retail experience with software engineering and a strategic approach to interface design.

“More and more, Canadian consumers are making online shopping a part of their daily lives,” said Stephen Bartkiw, CEO, AOL Canada. “For this reason, it is essential that Canadian companies understand the online shopping needs of Canadian consumers. By making Novator’s e-retailing and customer service expertise available to AOL Canada’s e-commerce partners, our members will experience an enjoyable, secure online shopping environment.”

Founded in 1992, Novator is helping North American companies, including Sony Canada, Canada Life and FTD to gain a competitive edge on the Web by providing innovative and profitable online solutions.

AOL Canada Inc., is a strategic alliance between America Online, Inc. and Royal Bank, a Canadian global financial services group. It operates the two interactive online services, AOL Canada and
CompuServe.
