Arts Alliance Joins Warner Bros. in Films Investment

UK Internet investment company
Arts Alliance
has joined with Warner Brothers to provide funding for
AtomFilms,
a company that plans to distribute films via new
media channels including the Internet.

AtomFilms was launched earlier this year and has
already acquired the rights to over 100 short films
which it intends to market via Internet sites, broadband
services, television, airlines and home entertainment
companies.

Besides Warner Bros. Online, other investors include
WaterView Partners and officers and employees of
Allen & Company.

“For filmmakers, typically left out of
mainstream entertainment circuits, AtomFilms presents
them with an incredible opportunity to showcase their work
in front of audiences around the globe and in various
media, from television and cable networks to airlines
and the Internet,” commented Frank Biondi, Jr., one of the WaterView
Partners and chairman and CEO of Biondi Reiss Capital
Management.

The AtomFilms Web site is already a busy destination
for people who want to see short films via the Internet.
AtomFilms the company has offices in Seattle, Los
Angeles, and London.
