AsiaMedia Increases Equity Stake in Healthwho.com

Dec 28, 2000

[SINGAPORE] AsiaMedic Limited has increased its shareholding in healthcare portal operator
Healthwho.com Pte. Ltd., which it co-owns with Internet services provider ASPOnline.

The publicly-listed company announced before the Christmas holidays that it had subscribed for
an additional 516,000 shares of S$1.00 (US$.60) each in the share capital of Healthwho.com
Pte. Ltd., thus raising its equity stake in the company to 45.57 percent.

The Healthwho.com portal launched almost exactly a year ago serves medical practitioners as well
as the general public. Revenue comes mainly from B2B e-commerce transactions enabled by a
clinic management system that is distributed free of charge to the medical community, and from
e-classifieds.
