Web promotion and search engine optimization service BeFirst.com and VirtualVineyard renewed and
expanded their working agreement. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

BeFirst’s proprietary software and unique methodology works with its clients’
Web sites, making them more visible to consumers within search engines.
Founded in 1994, VirtualVineyard.com is an Internet wine retailer that also
sells wine-related gifts and accessories. The company ships wine throughout a
network of wholesalers and retailers to over 80 percent of the United States, Europe
and Asia.

“We are always looking at ways to increase our visibility and BeFirst’s
service helps us reach consumers who are searching the Web for a place to buy
and learn about wine,” said Cyndy Ainsworth, director of product marketing at
VirtualVineyard.com.

BeFirst recently announced the development of FindWhat.com, a
pay-for-placement search engine scheduled to launch this summer. Other
clients eBay, TheStreet.com and Morningstar.com.
