Bidpath Corporation, a platform and e-infrastructure solution provider for the traditional auction industry, announced the release of Version 2.0 of its auction-enabling technology, featuring the Live Auction component.
The New live Auction technology allows Internet bidders to participate in traditional auctions in real time. Online bidders can now interact with onsite bidders and the auctioneer in the crucial last 10 seconds of bidding on an item.
“This integrated approach makes it practical, for the first time, for an auctioneer to include real time bidding at every auction,” says Ted Caroll, Bidpath’s Director of Engineering.
