[Calgary, CANADA]- The New Era Group of Companies will distribute Big Picture Technologies Inc.‘s line of e-commerce enabled products in South East Asia.
The New Era Group of Companies comprises four distribution units in Singapore with additional sales and distribution units in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand. New Era estimates that it has 80 percent market share in its core markets.
The market for e-commerce products in South East Asia is under-serviced, with few competitors, according to Michael Anthony, Big Picture president and chief executive officer. He said that New Era figures prominently in Big Picture’s plans to ‘localize’ eMerchant pro and other products for offshore markets.
Anthony added that Big Picture also plans to enter into a strategic partnership for the translation of its product into Chinese and to establish a more formal corporate presence in the region. The chinese version of the product will have appeal, not just in Hong Kong, Singapore, and with the right partner, ‘mainland’ China, but also with selected Chinese speaking communities in North America.
Big Picture Technologies Inc. develops Internet, e-commerce, and e-service software and designs e-business solutions.
