BMC Unveils Output Management Product Line

BMC Software Inc. rolled out the red
carpet for its new INCONTROL output management product Wednesday at Xplor
International in Los Angeles.

Items in BMC’s (BMCS)
product line include CONTROL-D/WebAccess server and the CONTROL-D/Page On
Demand toolkit, which will allow clients to access, distribute and manage
the wealth of information created by business applications.

Customers may use major Web browsers like Netscape Navigator and Internet
Explorer to quickly view and customize reports, images and other documents
using the WebAccess server. The efficient interface was designed with
Internet, intranet and extranet use in mind and guarantees a secure viewing
environment.

The Page On Demand toolkit enables users to access multiple report
repositories through their organizations intranet or extranet, making data
available to any end-user.

“Organizations today demand optimal availabilty of business-critical
information,” said Colin Brunton, program director of Americas field
marketing for BMC’s output management solution. “With the addition of this
and other Web-enabled products, we are able to provide an efficient,
cost-effective, end-to-end information systems managment solution.”
