HomeProject.com
Monday announced a deal with Chapters
Online
to sell a broad selection of leisure, entertainment, home, and
garden products from the HomeProject.com Web site.

HomeProject.com is an e-business marketplace focused on the $180 billion
home and garden improvement market.

Its Web site offers homeowners advice on how to plan, design, visualize, and
successfully complete home improvement projects.

“Through this agreement with Chapters Online, HomeProject.com will be able
to offer homeowners a wide range of products,” said Henry Lach, executive
vice president of HomeProject.com.

“The many resources available through Chapters Online will be of tremendous
value to our customers.”

The Chapters.ca Web site features millions of book, music CD, video, DVD,
and software titles, as well as consumer electronics from around the world
at Canadian prices and with a unique focus on products of interest to
Canadians.

Chapters Online will also be a major sponsor of HomeProject.com, and
therefore be promoted through advertising, co-marketing, and promotions on
the site.

Do-it-yourself books and home renovation guides continue to rank high among
the top selling book categories online.

“Our products are an excellent complement to the services provided by
HomeProject.com,” said Tony Rodrigues, Chapters vice president, Home and
Garden.

“They will help guide home improvement enthusiasts through their home and
garden projects.”
