Corp. and MediaNet
Communications Corp., Canada’s only licensed independent broadcast
network, have a strategic agreement to offer CityXpress.com’s products
to MediaNet’s affiliate radio stations. CityExpress develops integrated
advertising, promotional and e-commerce solutions for media companies.
Under the agreement, MediaNet Communications Corp. will exclusively use
CityXpress.com as their e-commerce engine for affiliates across Canada.
Regional clients of MediaNet have the opportunity to establish an entry
into e-commerce.
MediaNet gains access to CityXpress.com’s proprietary XpressStores and
XpressCoupons technology, enabling the 79 affiliates of the MediaNet
Radio Network the opportunity to offer advertisers to build an online
presence in their local communities.
CityXpress.com will build and host branded coupon flyer and multi-vendor
department store sites for the affiliates. CityXpress.com’s products
will be sold in local markets by the advertising sales force of
participating affiliates.
