CommTouch Software Tuesday launched a Web-based e-mail utility that incorporates voice, fax and e-mail messages into one online mailbox.
The new tool allows users to review all their messages, either in their e-mail or voice mailbox at the same time. With the new tool, users can also be notified by pager when they receive important messages and review and respond to their voice, fax and e-mail messages from any telephone.
“The e-mailbox is the natural hub for personal communication on the
Internet,” said Gideon Mantel, chief executive officer of CommTouch.
“CommTouch is redefining the value of a Web e-mail subscriber by expanding
the Web e-mail account into a comprehensive platform for communication
services.”
To offer this communication product, CommTouch joined
with its exclusive unified messaging partner, JFAX. Users can sign-up for these new communication
services directly at ProntoMail or on CommTouch partner Web sites.
