Redmond-based Conversa, a provider of speech recognition technology, has changed the spelling of its name from Conversa to Conversay.

In an attempt to help people correctly pronounce the company name, Conversay has added the “y” to the traditional spelling.

According to Matt Scheuing, executive vice president of marketing for Conversay, the name change and a new logo design is nothing more than business as usual. “Only now, we can spend more of our efforts working on innovative technologies instead of explaining to people how to correctly say our name.”
