Seattle.internet.com has learned that Quebec-based Copernic.com recently launched its latest product: Copernic Summarizer. Copernic Summarizer summarizes texts and manages information from search engines and produces summary reports featuring the main ideas found in the subject matter processed.

Copernic Summarizer operates under Windows and can process documents in English, French, German, and Spanish. Other languages are expected to be added to later versions of the software. The current version integrates summarizer functions into three major applications on the market: Internet Explorer, Word, and Outlook.

In an e-interview in French, the company’s Communications Manager Benoit Levesque told seattle.internet.com about his company’s Seattle area connection.

According to Levesque, Copernic.com is working with Seattle-based media company RXL Pulitzer for the upcoming Japanese and Chinese versions of the product, and Copernic.com’s website (copernic.com) is hosted by Seattle-based hostpro.
