Cosmoz.com to Acquire StreetIQ.com

Portal site Cosmoz.com has signed a letter of intent to
acquire StreetIQ.com, a women’s financial
community site that offers commentary, investment resources, chat and
discussion forums. Financial terms were not disclosed.

“We’re very excited about joining Cosmoz.com,” said Kelly Black, StreetIQ.com
CEO. “They have done an excellent job of aggregating e-commerce, financial
and entertainment Web sites, and we see a snug fit with our niche focus
towards a community of women investors.”

StreetIQ.com has content partnerships with TheStreet.com, Keynote Systems,
401(K)afe, iVillage.com and Gomez Advisors.

The Cosmoz.com operation is modeled after leading portals as a stand alone
business. “Cosmoz is now well-positioned to aggressively build the Cosmoz
brand and network, accelerate the growth and acquisition strategies, and
improve the existing properties and infrastructure,” said Wilfred Shaw,
chairman and CEO.

Cosmoz.com, which said it is currently in different phases of closing three
to four more Web site deals. said its goal is to become a major force in the
Internet industry and plans to acquire up to 20 Web sites by the year 2000.

It recently acquired Kingfine.com, an online resource for the active investor.
