Cyberian Outpost Revenues Bolster Stock Price

Profit taking shaves the top off some of the ISDEX component stocks with at
least one screamer in the group of 50 representative stocks: Cyberian
Outpost
(NASDAQ:COOL).

COOL jumps nearly 40% to $22.50 per share on preliminary numbers that show
its fourth quarter ending February 28 revenues are approximately $33
million. Compare that to 4Q97’s $8.1 million. The results are also 40%
higher than 3Q98. Is this the revival of etail stocks? Today’s snapshot:

    revenue of $9.6 million, 75% better than the previous quarter. Net loss is
    $6.7 million, wider than expected. Full-year revenue reaches $19.9 million,
    up 542% vs. 1997.
    Loss for the year is $24.7 million vs. $5.3 million loss in 1997.
  • Xoom.com (NASDAQ:XMCM) launches an Italian Web effort, leveraging its strength in
    the European market. Xoom tells me that 43% of its membership is European,
    and its overall membership base is more than 6 million.

    (NASDAQ:ATHM) gets an initial “buy” rating from CS First Boston. The firm
    is just discovering ATHM? We’ve been fans since 1996. That accounts for
    several hundred percentage points gain in ATHM that CS First Boston clients
    have missed out on by not following our free analysis.
