E-Commerce Providers Team Up

TIBCO Software Inc. brought its real-time integration to BroadVision Inc.
Wednesday and the firms bundled products. Under the multi-year agreement,
the companies will collaborate on marketing, product and business
development, and sales activities on a worldwide basis.

Financial terms were not made public.

Based on the TIBCO ActiveEnterprise product suite, the BroadVision
Integration Packs will be available with the One-To-One application to
enable BroadVision customers to exchange business data across their
e-commerce platforms.

Integration packs enable customers to establish a set of business principles
to manage in real-time and numerous tasks such as synchronization of
customer information, order fulfillment, inventory inquiry and catalog data
updates.

In addition, the two companies agreed to work closely in the
business-to-employees area to integrate BroadVision’s InfoExchange
application with TIBCO’s ActivePortal product to enable personalization and
data integration solutions for companies seeking to manage online
relationships.

“To be a successful e-business, companies must have fully integrated
software systems that communicate in real-time,” said TIBCO Software
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vivek Ranadive. “The co-developed TIBCO
and BroadVision solution will give joint
customers a key advantage with real-time information systems.”
