CMGI‘s Engage Inc. advertising company and ClickExperts, a Latin American
online ad network, strengthened their ties on Thursday, in an alliance that
will bring ClickExperts’ sites into Engage’s NetFuerza network.

ClickExperts has also joined AudienceNet, Engage’s profile driven
advertising and marketing network. Currently, ClickExperts uses Engage
AdManager.

The deal expands Engage’s reach in the promising Latin American market, but
the two companies did not disclose the size of the market. Calls to Engage
were not returned by publication time.

“Our team combines technological expertise with a deep knowledge of the
local Latin American markets and their online advertising planning and
buying needs,” said Delfina Balestra, co-founder and senior vice president
of marketing, ClickExperts.

“By joining forces with Engage we will have the resources necessary to meet
the needs of the online advertising industry in Latin America.”

Latin America is thought to be a hot Internet market, because residents are
just beginning to come online in significant numbers. A number of players
— including StarMedia Network and
ElSitio.com — are basing their
businesses on the growth of the region.
