Canada, an online investing services provider, introduced an
unprecedented level of
analytical information and tools on its Mutual Fund Centre.
The enhancements include information on more than 1,400 mutual funds,
advanced analytical tools, and research, as well as Java applets called
Interactive Charts and Dynamic Quotes, for tracking and charting stocks.
“These tools are a great equalizer in the fight to empower investors,” said
Colleen Moorehead, President of E*TRADE Canada. “They are the same types of
tools sophisticated investors and advisors have used to improve stock
selection. Technology is allowing independent investors to access these same
analytics.”
The E*TRADE Canada Mutual Fund Centre enables customers to buy and sell more
than 700 mutual funds from widely known fund families, including Trimark, CI
Funds, Fidelity, Mackenzie, Dynamic, and AGF. All funds are available
with no loads or transaction fees.
The enhancements to the Mutual Fund Centre include:
- An asset allocation model that helps investors determine the
appropriate mix of assets in their portfolio
- A new fund search feature with more than 35 criteria, including a
combination of MERs, quartile performance, and standard deviation
- Investment Strategies
- A feature allowing investors to compare mutual funds directly
