MatchLogic, a subsidiary of Excite@Home, has formed a partnership with Dynamics Direct, Inc. that makes Dynamics Direct’s individualized rich media email technology available to MatchLogic’s client base.

“As a leader in the personalized email industry, rich media email is the next logical step for us as businesses need every opportunity to distinguish themselves when they embark on an email campaign,” said Tim Prunk, President of MatchLogic. “Dynamics Direct is the right partner for us to bring personalized, streaming media messages to the market, which is demanding more sophisticated methods to advertise online.”

As part of the agreement, Dynamics Direct’s email delivery platform will be incorporated into the MatchLogic DeliverE opt-in email database system of self-reported profiles.

Dynamics Direct’s technology allows MatchLogic’s customers to incorporate database information — such as name, hometown, and purchase history — into streaming, Flash-based rich media email campaigns. These emails include animation, voice narration, graphics, pictures, video, music and sound effects.

“Delivering the most relevant and compelling email marketing messages has always been the end game,” said Russell T. Gillam, President and CEO of Dynamics Direct. “Our technology is a perfect complement to MatchLogic’s traditional strength in data-driven online marketing. By uniting our strength in individualized rich media email with MatchLogic’s DeliverE opt-in database, we’ll be able to deliver better results for their customers.”
