Online ad network Flycast
Communications
on Tuesday inked a deal to provide British Telecom‘s Yellow Pages with ad
services, an agreement which gives the CMGI-owned company a European presence in
this time of increasing international focus.

The deal teams Flycast and BT’s Yell.com
in an effort to reach local businesses that want to target advertising
geographically.

As part of the agreement, Flycast gets access to Yell.com’s 1,500-person
sales force and its relationships with more than a million businesses
throughout the United Kingdom.

Flycast, which is set to be acquired by Engage Technologies, has done these types
of deals with telecom companies in the US, including BellSouth, US WEST and SBC Interactive.
