MINNEAPOLIS, June 9–ADC Telecommunications said it had agreed to acquire Centigram Communications
, a global provider of communications services, for $200
million. The purchase will consist of about $163 million in cash to Centigram stockholders, or about $26.38
per share, and about $36 million to be paid in ADC stock.
San Jose, Calif.-based Centigram offers service providers products that can
integrate Internet, email, voicemail, fax and voice services for delivery
to wireless and wireline communications devices. It would be the fourth
communications software acquisition by ADC in as many years.

BORDEAUX, France, June 9–Kalisto Entertainment has just
signed an agreement with DayLight Productions in order to acquire it
through a stock swap, marking Kalisto’s latest move to expand its
international presence. This acquisition of Daylight reinforces
Kalisto’s position in the US market, producing games designed for current
and next generation consoles, PC and the Internet. Kalisto was successfully
floated on the Paris Nouveau Marche in June 1999.
