  • Sportsline USA (NASDAQ:SPLN) reports that fourth quarter page views increased 251% vs. the same quarter last year to an average 2.8 million per day. SPLN shares rallied on a tout from BA Robertson Stephens but closed down on profit taking.

  • AOL (NYSE:AOL) plans on asking its shareholders at an undetermined date in February to double its shares to 600 million that it can use for corporate, acquisitions, splits, etc. We think AOL could be on the verge of a buying spree. It could take out a navigation site or invest in cable?


  • Lycos (NASDAQ:LCOS) gets an “attractive” rating from Nesbitt Burns. No other details.
