  • Network Associates (NASDAQ:NETA) agrees to acquire automated help desk and asset management firm Magic Solutions for $110 million cash. NETA plans on taking $90 million charge for the deal.

  • Delta Three and ITXC will share traffic between their IP telephony networks in a move that could signal a growing “cooperate to grow” industry. Until now IP telephony has been fairly fragmented. ITXC is backed by AT&T and VocalTec (NASDAQ:VOCLF) and run by a former AT&T Worldnet executive.
