  • CNET (NASDAQ:CNWK) reports $10.667 million revenue for first quarter ending March 31 with a loss of $5.665 million or $0.38 loss per share. 1Q97 results were $6.318 million revenue and $12.888 million loss or $0.97 loss per share.

  • Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN), as coincidence has it the featured analysis in today’s Internet Stock Report, wants to sell
    $275 million senior debt that will mature in 2008. Interest paid semi-annually in cash beginning in 2003. Proceeds to pay off existing debt and to grow the firm. The coincidence is that we said Amazon wasn’t cashed up enough to compete on a global scale. See ISR April 24 for more.
