Verio (NASADQ:VRIO) passes the 250,000 milestone with its Web hosting. At 260,000 the ISP adds about 10,000 per month. VRIO shares gains 3% to $59 7/16 on the news.
Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) and Healtheon (NASDAQ:HLTH) ink an agreement to integrate Healtheon health and medical content on Yahoo Health.
Cyberian Outpost (NASDAQ:COOL) posts $32.68 million sales for its first fiscal quarter. Net loss is $8.855 million or $0.38 loss per share. COOL shares drop 13% to $9 27/32.
Beyond.com (NASDAQ:BYND) is the subject of speculation (again) that Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) may acquire the software etailer. BYND shares soar 29% to $32 7/8 on the news. Beyond’s CEO was the former VP marketing at Amazon.
Amazon could absorb this one easy in my opinion.
