[Montreal, CANADA] Mediagrif Interactive Technologies (TSE:MDF) is
pleased with itself and blowing its own horn more than a little,
announcing today that its Virtual Chip Exchange and PowerSource
Online busdinesses are among the 25 largest independent Net Markets
according to a recent survey made by Net Market Markers.

Founded in 1996, Mediagrif is a developer and operator of vertical
business-to-business e-commerce marketplaces.

According to Denis Gadbois, Mediagrif president and chief executive
officer, “The success of Mediagrif’s engineered B2B e-commerce
marketplaces relies on our complete turnkey solution which consists
of our proven technology combined with operational and marketing
expertise.”

“Strategic partnerships and industry knowledge are other components
of Mediagrif’s success in developing marketplaces. The findings from
Net Market Makers survey establishes Virtual Chip Exchange and
PowerSource Online as key players in their respective industry.”

Net Market Makers released The Ground Zero 25 on December 5,
2000 — a listing of the 25 largest independent Net Markets. The
ranking was based on the marketplaces’ Q3 2000 revenue. Information
was obtained from SEC documents and from surveys sent to about 1,000
international Net markets. This also represents the beginning of a
semi-annual list that will track the largest revenue generating
players in the market.

VCE is the leading vertical marketplace for the purchase and sale of
excess electronic components and for the fulfillment of spot market
requirements. Membership is restricted to OEMs, CEMs, Franchised
Distributors, and Component Manufacturers.

PowerSource Online.com is a subsidiary of Mediagrif. It is an
established Web-based, business-to-business global trading hub and
procurement system for new, used, refurbished and end-of-life
computers, peripherals, and software, used by a customer base of more
than 1,500 computer distributors, dealers, resellers, and service
companies. It lists an inventory estimated at an astonishing $3
billion plus of old computer parts and systems.

Mediagrif itself is a developer and operator of vertical
business-to-business e-commerce marketplaces. It currently operates seven
marketplaces serving a membership base of over 7,500 businesses
located in 60 countries.
