As part of plans to develop e-commerce marketing, Microforum Inc. will acquire Two Door Communications Inc., a Toronto-based new media and communications company.

Terms were not disclosed but the purchase price is expected to consist of cash and common shares.

Two Door offers communications solutions from online marketing programs, to driving online sales through traditional advertising channels. It will be integrated into Microforum, with a focus on e-commerce marketing and the definition, management and deployment of URL marketing campaigns.

“Through the addition of Two Door Communications we now have a better understanding of how to market, helping us fulfill our commitment as a provider of end-to-end e-commerce solutions,” said Howard Pearl, CEO of Microforum.
