Microsoft Brasil has announced new technical support for Web developers provided by SofHar with the goal to provide low cost technical support for the industry.

“In spite of the importance of this industry, there isn’t anything similar available,” says Andrea Bonfiglioni, SofHar’s partners and developers manager.

There are currently nearly 40,000 Web developers in the Brazilian market.

SofHar, the company in charge of the project, is a Microsoft Certified
Solution Provider and Authorized Support Center.

The new service offered by the company includes the support to Visual Basic, Visual InterDev, Visual Source Safe, SQL Server, Active Server Pages, database access technologies, COM development and platform integration.

Clients can also opt for Web-based technical support through a yearly subscription. The service will be available in Portuguese and Spanish.

The initiative also includes a e-commerce storefront for products, books and online training.
