Enough with the criticism, says Frank Shaw, the company’s vice president of corporate communications. Shaw, a self-proclaimed words guy, stepped out of his medium to offer a series of numerical data points to remind the snarky tech press and its constellation of pundits that yes, in fact, Microsoft still matters, and is doing very well, thank you very much.
