Activate, a subsidiary of Seattle’s Loudeye Technologies Inc., will Webcast the launch of Microsoft’s Visual Studio .NET live from San Francisco at 9 a.m. PST Wednesday.

“Activate has contributed to the success of many past Microsoft events,” said Kevin Ledley, group manager for MSDN Online, Microsoft. “They’ve demonstrated an understanding of our needs and the ability to scale to meet the high bandwidth demands of our largest and most critical Webcasts. Additionally, Activate enables us to instantly analyze audiences and offer the Webcast on demand subsequent to the live broadcast for developers who were unable to attent the live event.”

The Webcast will be available here.
