San Francisco-based MyWeb Inc announced Thursday that it will introduce its set-top boxes in the Shanghai region next month.

The company says it will also introduce its TV portal localized for users in the same area.

MyWeb introduced its services in Beijing in July and the company claims that up around 90 percent of all set-top boxes sold in China today are embedded with its Chinese-language MyWeb TV portal.

Shanghai is China’s most populous city with more than 14 million people and the fastest growing business, industrial and property sectors.
